STARKVILLE, Miss. – Southeastern Conference play begins for Mississippi State, who looks to bounce back from last week's season-opening loss as the Bulldogs host South Carolina (1-0) at 6 p.m. CT Saturday in Davis Wade Stadium. For complete gameday information, visit HailState.com/gameday.
Tickets
The Davis Wade Stadium ticket office opens at 3 p.m. and all gates will open at 4 p.m. Tickets are also available for purchase on HailState.com. The C Spire Fan Zone opens at 2 p.m. The "Dawg Walk" will take place at 4 p.m. in the Junction. Former NFL Bulldog Anthony "Boobie" Dixon, who will serve as an honorary captain, will be signing autographs at the fan zone.
What To Wear
Upper level is encouraged to wear white (300 levels and Scoreboard Club) and the lower level is asked to wear maroon.Â

The game will be televised live on ESPN2 with Mike Patrick (play-by-play), Ed Cunningham (analyst) and Laura Rutledge (sideline) calling the action. Live streaming video is available via the Watch ESPN app and WatchESPN.com.

Fans are reminded of Davis Wade Stadium's new clear bag policy, which will be in effect Saturday. Only clear tote bags that do not exceed 12" x 6"" x 12" or one-gallon plastic freezer bags will be allowed in the stadium. MSU announced earlier this week a number of measures to help ensure the safety and well-being of fans attending the game. Each ticketed fan will be allowed to bring into the stadium up to two personal-size, clear water bottles or one clear reusable personal water bottle of 32 ounces or less. Cash-only kiosks throughout the stadium will be selling reduced price water. More details are available here.
Smoke Free Campus
Davis Wade Stadium is now a clear air facility. Smoking in any form is prohibited on campus. For more details, visit smokefree.msstate.edu.
SEC Nation
"SEC Nation," the SEC Network's traveling college football morning show, will originate from the Junction from 9-11 a.m. The pit opens at 7:30 a.m. and there will be free breakfast for the first 300 at 8:45 a.m. The show features former NFL and SEC players Tim Tebow and Marcus Spears, host Maria Taylor, media personality Paul Finebaum and reporter Laura Rutledge.
