The Bulldogs (4-7, 2-5 SEC) are seeking to end the regular season on a positive note. The Rebels enter the rivalry contest at 5-6 and 2-5 in league play. State has put up at least 35 points in four of its five games.

Senior wide receiver Fred Ross is 53 receiving yards shy of 2,500 for his career. Ross is also six catches shy of 200 for his career.
