MSU Coaches Address MAC All-Sports Clinic
STARKVILLE, Miss - There is a distinct maroon influence at this week's Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Sport Clinic. The annual convention of coaches from around the state of Mississippi, held in Jackson, featured speaking appearances by Dan Mullen, Rick Ray and other head coaches and representatives of Mississippi State athletics.
Bracky Brett, Senior Associate Director of Athletics For Compliance, kicked off Wednesday's clinic with a session on initial eligibility. Head coaches Mullen (football), Ray (men's basketball), Vic Schaefer (women's basketball) and Vann Stuedeman (softball) led sessions about their respective sports.
"It's great to see our coaches participating in this clinic and giving back to the high school and junior college coaches around our state," director of athletics Scott Stricklin said. "This is just another example of our university having a positive effect on those that have daily impact on the youth in Mississippi."
The Mississippi Association of Coaches is an organization serving the needs of athletic coaches throughout the state of Mississippi.
