Hill/Stricklin Share March Employee Of The Month Honors

The March Employees of the Month for Mississippi State Athletics are assistant tennis coach Matt Hill and athletic director Scott Stricklin.

Hill has been very instrumental in helping lead the Bulldog tennis squad back into first place in the SEC West and just one match behind Kentucky for first overall in the league. He has been a tireless worker for the men’s tennis program, whether through recruiting, helping develop State's talented players, or assisting head coach Per Nilsson in the overall management of the team.

After the retirement of long-time head basketball coaches Rick Stansbury and Sharon Fanning-Otis, Stricklin led exhaustive searches for their replacements while continuing the tall task of directing the athletic department as a whole.
