MSU Women’s Tennis Prepares For ITA Regional Competition
STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State's Women's Tennis will take to the courts once again this fall as the team travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the ITA Southern Region Indoor Championships. The tournament is a qualifying events for the ITA National Indoor Championships which will be held in November in New York.
The entire Lady Bulldog squad, with the exception of junior Roseline Dion, will represent the Maroon and White in the team's fourth tournament of the fall campaign. Conference opponents who will also be competing in Tuscaloosa include Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU.
The tournament will kick off at 9 a.m. CT on Friday beginning with two rounds of doubles play followed by one round of singles competition.
The ITA Southern Region Indoor Championship is set to last through Monday. Results will be posted on hailstate.com throughout the weekend with updates on Twitter (@mstateWT).
