STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State's Lady Bulldog tennis squad will be back in action this weekend as the team heads to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the 25th annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic, Oct. 5-7.

MSU will be represented in the tournament by the three freshmen newcomers: Sarai Flores, Georgiana Patrasc, and Lein Van Geel. Returnees Alexandra Perper and Naomi Tran are set to compete for the Lady Bulldogs as well.

"It has been three weeks since our last tournament and I think our girls are excited about competing this weekend," MSU head coach Daryl Greenan said. "I look forward to seeing our girls apply what we have worked on in the past few weeks."

The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. CT Friday beginning with one doubles match followed by two singles matches for each participant. Each draw will contain 8 players (16 for doubles), and each participant is guaranteed three matches.

The Roberta Alison Fall Classic is set to last through Saturday, with Sunday available for play in case of inclement weather. Results will be posted on hailstate.com throughout the weekend with updates on Twitter (@mstateWT).
