STARKVILLE, Miss. – It is back to Southeastern Conference competition for the Mississippi State softball team after a six-game break from league contests. The Bulldogs return home this weekend for three-game series against No. 16/18 Missouri. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. CT Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Don’t miss out on a minute of action as the Bulldogs are off to the best 39-game start in program history at 29-10. MSU brings a seven-game winning streak into Friday’s opener against the Tigers.

Every game this weekend will feature the Grand Slam Giveaway. If any MSU player hits a grand slam, a lucky fan will win either a flat-screen television or an iPad.

Before Friday’s game, rally towels will be given out to fans while supplies last. The Starkville Police and Fire Departments will have a home run derby after the contest.

Saturday is the “Strike Out Cancer” game. The players will wear pink wristbands and arm sleeves, which will be available to fans while supplies last.

Every Sunday this spring at the MSU Softball Stadium is Kids Day. At the field will be FREE face tattoos and ice cream for fans and kids in eighth grade and under can run the bases after the game. It will also be Tupelo Recreation Day.
