The 2012 team leader in ERA (2.30) and winning percentage (.800), Flesher has been co-president of MSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, while also bringing in more than 4,000 pounds of food to be distributed to impoverished families in the area as a leader of the campus-wide Thanksgiving canned food drive. She has participated in various summer softball camps, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and has worked extensively with Bully's Book Blitz, which encourages literacy to schoolchildren.
Flesher has furthermore helped teach and tutor children around the county area, including Aiken Village Preschool, Sudduth Elementary School and East Oktibbeha County Elementary School. Along with being a member of the National Collegiate Honorary Society, she has similarly been a five-year member of the MSU Bulldog Honor Roll and Academic All-SEC Honor Roll. The past two years, Flesher has been named a NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
