STARKVILLE, Miss. - As the summer fades away, another Mississippi State season of golf approaches for the Lady Bulldogs.

For third year coach Ginger Brown-Lemm, it's a season that can't start fast enough.

"The schedule we have been able to put together is the best yet, highlighted by our first home event hosted by our women's program," Brown-Lemm said. "We have a lot of young talent coming in, with one junior, three sophomores and three incoming freshman. The schedule will feature a tough SEC slate with challenging non-conference tournaments."

MSU will open the 2012-2013 campaign by hosting the first home tournament at the historic Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss., set for Sept. 10-12.

The Brown-Lemm led club will then head to Missouri, Tennessee and Las Vegas in the month of October to conclude the fall campaign.

In the spring, State will compete in the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., on Feb. 24 and 25, with the regular season concluding with a trip to Oxford to participate in the BancorpSouth Rebel Intercollegiate.

The SEC Championship will be hosted from April 20- 22, in Birmingham, Ala.
