Lady Bulldogs Complete Season At SEC Championship

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Playing one of the toughest courses on the collegiate circuit, the Mississippi State women's golf team concluded its season in the SEC Championship with a 974 card at The Blessings in Fayetteville.

MSU tied for eighth with a 315 during Friday's first but slid down the leaderboard during the final two rounds.

Standout freshman Ally McDonald turned in her sixth Top 25 finish of the season. Although the Lady Bulldogs have been eliminated from postseason contention, the Fulton native may have the opportunity to play in an NCAA Regional as an individual.

Fellow freshman Rica Tse turned in a 240, while sophomore Mary Langdon Gallagher carded a 249. Elena Warren and Perry Katherine Furr rounded out the Maroon and White's leaderboard with a 255 and 258, respectively.

No. 5 Auburn posted a 916, claiming a one-stroke victory over No. 36 and host Arkansas. Patricia Sanz of Auburn won the individual crown with a 3-over-par 219.
