HailStateTV, Mississippi State's premium internet audio and video streaming service, has announced its plans for the 2012-13 season.

Formerly Maroon to the Max, HailStateTV will continue to offer selected live game events in its premium package in the sports of men's and women's basketball,  baseball and softball. Much of the other content that has been part of the premium package in years past - such as press conferences, interviews and coaches shows - is now being offered free of charge.

In addition, HailStateTV plans to offer all home games in the sports of soccer and volleyball this this fall, and all of those events will be free of charge. See below for a breakdown of content in each package.

The HailStateTV portal is HSTV's central location where Bulldog fans everywhere can access free and premium audio and video content through one simple interface. The HSTV portal, which will continue to be enhanced in the future, replaces the previous Maroon to the Max media player that subscribers are accustomed to. It will be an area through which all Bulldog fans - subscribers and non-subscribers - can access all audio and video content featuring the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs.

Full Package, three options available...

- Live video streams for selected home games in men's and women's basketball, and the majority of home baseball games (Note: Live Football Video is not available due to SEC Restrictions)
- On-demand video replays (full and condensed) for selected games in football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball

Bulldog Club Discount Information for Full Package ($12-month package only)
There is a special discount on the full package (12-month only) for Bulldog Club members who donate $500 or more per year. Those who qualify are eligible to receive $50 off of the full subcription rate. To obtain your Bulldog Club discount, first purchase the full package and then either contact us through our Customer Care Center or contact the Bulldog Club (662-325-3074) and let us know you are eligible for the discount. We will issue a credit of $50 to you.
PLEASE NOTE: This discount cannot be combined with other special discounts or promotions for Maroon to the Max.

- Existing Dog Tag Account Holders
Customers who have an existing Dog Tag account and wish to renew their subscription to HailStateTV (formerly Maroon to the Max) should do nothing. Provided the account has a valid credit card on file, previous subscribers of HSTV content will have their subscription renewed automatically on its anniversary date, If this does not happen, please contact our Customer Care Center for assistance.

- New Dog Tag Accounts
Customers who do not have an existing Dog Tag account and wish to subscribe to HSTV, can simply follow the new account link to subscribe.  Creating a new HSTV account will automatically create a Dog Tag account as well, where the customer can then manage other aspects of their relationship with MSU Athletics, such as Bulldog Club donations and ticketing.

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL POLICY
Subscribers of HSTV should note that, following their initial subscription, their subscription will renew automatically on its anniversary date, provided the account has a valid credit card on file. If you do not wish to renew, simply login to your Dog Tag account and go to Maroon to the Max>Manage Packages>Cancel Packages prior to your account's expiration date.

In the spring of 2012, HailStateTV debuted high-definition (HD) video streaming. Currently, HD streaming is only available for baseball season and other selected special events. More sports will likely be added to the HSTV's HD lineup in the future.

The HD video is delivered with an adaptive streaming technology, meaning the stream automatically adapts to the user's connection speed to deliver the best quality video the connection will allow (up to HD).

Much of HSTV's content can also be accessed through MSU's premium mobile applications for iPad, iPhone and Android.

LIVE VIDEO STREAMING: Currently HSTV live video streaming is available only through State's official iPad app. To access, users need to purchase both the iPad app and also have a valid HSTV video subscription to login with when prompted on the app. The video link will appear at game time in the "Schedules" tab on the iPad app.

LIVE AUDIO STREAMING: HSTV's live audio streaming can be accessed through State's mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android, again by purchasing the desired app and having a valid HSTV subscription.

ON-DEMAND CONTENT: Much of HSTV's on-demand video content - such as coach and player interviews, features, etc., - can be accessed through State's mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android. Fans are only required to purchase the premium version of the desired app to access the on-demand content. No HSTV subscription is required to play it.

Our HD video offerings are delivered with an adaptive streaming technology, meaning the stream automatically adapts to the user's connection speed to deliver the best quality video the connection will allow (up to HD).

Subscribers to the audio-only package need only a 56K dial-up connection or higher to enjoy the audio streams.
