STARKVILLE, Miss. - After claiming its fourth SEC series win in five weekends last weekend in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mississippi State (29-18/12-12 SEC) has returned to Baseball America's top 25 ranking. The Bulldogs, winners in eight of their last 10 games, are listed at No. 25 in the Baseball America rankings.

It's the third national ranking for MSU this season by Baseball America, which included State in its top 25 in the third and fourth weeks of the season. State enters the week tied with defending divisional champion Arkansas for second in the SEC Western Division, four games behind division and overall league co-leading LSU.

MSU was ranked 29th in last week's Collegiate Baseball rankings. The Perfect Game College Top 50 poll ranks MSU 26th this week.

State hosts Mississippi Valley State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in a makeup game from an early-season rainout before heading to Gainesville, Fla., for a three-game weekend series against No. 5 Florida (35-13, 14-10 SEC).
