STARKVILLE, Miss. - In its lone midweek competition, Mississippi State hosts Mississippi Valley State in a single nine-inning game Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field.

The game is a makeup of a contest between the Bulldogs and the Delta Devils canceled due to weather April 3. It had previously been rescheduled as a 4 p.m. twinbill (two seven-inning contests), but by agreement of both teams has been changed back to a single nine-inning game Tuesday night.

MSU (29-18), with wins in eight of its last 10 games and four of its last five SEC series, travels to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend for a three-game series against No. 5 Florida. State then returns to Dudy Noble Field to host Central Arkansas (May 15) and Kentucky (May 17-19).
