STARKVILLE, Miss. - Freshman first baseman Jonathan Holder (Gulfport, Miss.) doubled in a pair of runs to cap a four-run, third-inning burst that lifted Team Grey to a 4-1 win in game two of the Bulldog World Series Saturday at Dudy Noble Field. The series is now tied at a game apiece, with the third game of the seven-game series set for 12 p.m. Sunday.

Freshman pitcher Brandon Woodruff (Wheeler, Miss.) singled and later scored on a bases-loaded walk to give Team Black a 1-0 lead in the opening inning. But it would be the only run allowed by junior starter Kendall Graveman (Alexander City, Ala.), who scattered five hits and worked around five walks to pick up the win. Junior lefty Chad Girodo (Hartselle, Ala.) fanned four batters in 2-1/3 innings and sophomore Taylor Stark (Flowood, Miss.) worked a scoreless seventh inning to close the game for Team Grey. Woodruff struck out four and was charged with all four runs over four innings.

Sophomore Daryl Norris (Fairhope, Ala.) had three hits and combined with Woodruff for five of their squad's seven hits. Norris also tossed two innings of scoreless relief.

Sophomore shortstop Adam Frazier (Bishop, Ga.) went 2-for-3 with a walk to lead Team Grey, which batted through the order in the third-inning burst that included two hits, a walk and an error.
