Skilled left-hander and former (2009) Freshman All-American and All-SEC hurler who leads the MSU staff with 162 career innings pitched, 157 strikeouts, 32 pitching starts and five complete games • One of 16 current Bulldogs with SEC Academic Honor Roll status.

Appeared in six games before his sophomore season was ended early with an arm injury • Compiled a 1-1 record with a 6.52 earned run average and 21 strikeouts in 19.1 innings of mound duty • Took the hill on opening day with a three-inning, no-decision start against Rhode Island (Feb. 19) • Worked a season-longest and staff third-longest 8.0 innings in his second outing, allowing one run with six hits and a season-high six strikeouts in a no-decision start against Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 26) • Took the loss against No. 15  Oklahoma (Mar. 12) in the opening game of the Whataburger College Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas • Registered his lone win of the campaign leading a split pitching crew against Mississippi Valley State (Mar. 17) • Allowed but one unearned run over two innings in a no-decision start at No. 6 Florida (Mar. 21), his lone SEC competition and final appearance of the season • Earned a berth on the 2010 SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Three-year letter-winner on the diamond at St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C. • Played for coach Mark Gibbs on Cadet baseball teams that posted a three-year 67-18 record • Capped his prep career earning all-conference honors in 2008 • Compiled a 4-1 mark with a 3.80 earned run average and a staff-leading 40 strikeouts in 23-2/3 innings • Honored as a 2008 Under Armour Preseason All-American following a successful 2007 summer league campaign with the Mid-Atlantic League Rookies • Posted a 4-1 mark with a 1.25 ERA pitching for coach Mike Chroniger • Fanned 56 and allowed six earned runs in 43 innings of mound duty • Played in the Cal Ripken Senior Collegiate League in 2008 for the Rockville (Md.)
