CAREER:
Skilled left-hander and former (2009) Freshman All-American and All-SEC hurler who leads the MSU staff with 162 career innings pitched, 157 strikeouts, 32 pitching starts and five complete games • One of 16 current Bulldogs with SEC Academic Honor Roll status.

2011:
Took the hill for 13 starts, making his injury-delayed mound debut at Lipscomb (Mar. 16) • Compiled a 3-3 record with a 3.86 earned run average with 49 strikeouts in 56.0 innings • Made six of his nine SEC starts on Saturdays, earning wins at Tennessee (May 7) and at Ole Miss (May 13) • Tossed his second career nine-inning complete game (fifth complete game overall and MSU staff-first in 2011) in State's NCAA Atlanta Regional-clinching 7-3 win over No. 9 Georgia Tech (June 5) • Allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits with six strikeouts in the route-going gem, earning a berth on the NCAA Atlanta Regional All-Tournament Team • Also fanned six batters against Alabama (Apr. 30) and against No. 18 Arkansas (May 26) in the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover, Ala. • Appeared in three postseason games, posting a 1-1 record and a 3.94 earned run average over a staff-high 16.0 innings • Compiled a 1.42 ERA with no decisions in five Dudy Noble Field appearances (19.0 innings) • Logged a 2-2 record with 33 strikeouts and a 3.93 ERA in nine SEC starts • Among 14 Bulldogs named to the 2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll •

2010:
Appeared in six games before his sophomore season was ended early with an arm injury • Compiled a 1-1 record with a 6.52 earned run average and 21 strikeouts in 19.1 innings of mound duty • Took the hill on opening day with a three-inning, no-decision start against Rhode Island (Feb. 19) • Worked a season-longest and staff third-longest 8.0 innings in his second outing, allowing one run with six hits and a season-high six strikeouts in a no-decision start against Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 26) • Took the loss against No. 15  Oklahoma (Mar. 12) in the opening game of the Whataburger College Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas • Registered his lone win of the campaign leading a split pitching crew against Mississippi Valley State (Mar. 17) • Allowed but one unearned run over two innings in a no-decision start at No. 6 Florida (Mar. 21), his lone SEC competition and final appearance of the season • Earned a berth on the 2010 SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2009:
Starter in all 13 mound appearances as a true freshman • Compiled a 5-3 record with a 4.15 earned run average • First MSU pitcher and second Bulldog overall named to the 2009 SEC All Freshman team • Also tabbed for the PingBaseball.com Freshman All-American team • Led the Bulldog pitching staff in wins, ERA, and starts as well as innings pitched (86.2) and strikeouts (87) • Moved into MSU's starting weekend rotation early in his rookie season • Made his collegiate debut and registered his first win with a solid eight-inning start against North Florida (Feb. 21) • Allowed a run on seven hits with four strikeouts • Also earned wins in starts against Nicholls (Feb. 28), at Arkansas (Mar. 29), Auburn (Apr. 4), and at Ole Miss (May 9) • Shared the SEC lead in complete games with four registered in successive SEC starts at Georgia (Mar. 21), at Arkansas (Mar. 29), Auburn (Apr. 4) and at Tennessee (Apr. 11) • Retired the first 13 batters faced (six on Saturday and seven after game resumed Sunday) in no-decision start and SEC debut against South Carolina (Mar. 13) • Registered a staff season-high 12 strikeouts in a nine-inning complete-game 8-3 win over Auburn (Apr. 4) • Led MSU with five quality starts and averaged nearly 6-2/3 innings and 6.7 strikeouts in his 13 games • Faced SEC co-champs Ole Miss (May 9) and LSU (May 15) in his final two starts, picking up his fifth rookie season win against the Rebels and working eight solid innings in a no-decision start and 8-7 MSU win over eventual national champion LSU • Drew starts on all 10 SEC weekends, posting a 3-3 record with a 4.92 ERA, four complete games and 70 strikeouts in 67.2 innings.       

HIGH SCHOOL:
Three-year letter-winner on the diamond at St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C. • Played for coach Mark Gibbs on Cadet baseball teams that posted a three-year 67-18 record • Capped his prep career earning all-conference honors in 2008 • Compiled a 4-1 mark with a 3.80 earned run average and a staff-leading 40 strikeouts in 23-2/3 innings • Honored as a 2008 Under Armour Preseason All-American following a successful 2007 summer league campaign with the Mid-Atlantic League Rookies • Posted a 4-1 mark with a 1.25 ERA pitching for coach Mike Chroniger • Fanned 56 and allowed six earned runs in 43 innings of mound duty • Played in the Cal Ripken Senior Collegiate League in 2008 for the Rockville (Md.) Express, coached by James Periera • Posted a 2-3 record with a 2.93 ERA, a staff-best 55 strikeouts and limited opponents to a .188 batting average • Finished second in the league in strikeouts and joined past MSU teammate Luke Adkins on the CRSCL all-star team • Member of the National Honor Society and a four-year academic honor roll student at St. John's College HS.
