CAREER: 
Returning senior starter and solid defender at shortstop • One of MSU's three spring 2009 signees from Blinn (Texas) College • Joined senior first baseman Connor Powers as the team's only 56-game starters in 2010.

2010: 
Drew starts in all 56 games (55 at shortstop and one at second base), one of MSU's two 56-game starters in 2010 • Hit .207 with 14 extra-base hits and 28 RBI • Hit safely in 29 games, with eight multiple-hit games and seven multi-RBI contests • Ranked fourth on the club with seven stolen bases in 11 attempts and second with six sacrifice bunts • Doubled and drove in a run against Rhode Island (Feb. 19) in his Mississippi State debut • Opened the season with hits in six of his first seven games, including four multi-hit games • Fashioned 3-for-4 games against Rhode Island (Feb. 21) and Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 26) during an early-season five-game hitting streak (Feb. 21 to Feb. 28 • Doubled and hit the first of his six home runs in the series finale against Rhode Island (Feb. 21) • Also belted home runs against Memphis (Mar. 24), against Georgia (Mar. 28), at Jackson State (May 4), at Auburn (May 9) and against Vanderbilt (May 15) • Set a season-high for RBI with a three-run blast during an eight-run, eighth-inning MSU rally leading to an 11-10 win over Georgia (Mar. 28) • Fielded at a .959 clip and had a hand in 42 of MSU's 55 double plays • Hit .150 with three home runs and 12 RBI as a starter in all 30 SEC games.
