The Lady Bulldog Booster Club, established in 1995, is made up of people of diverse ages and varied backgrounds who have come together to support the Mississippi State Women's Basketball program. The club encourages wholesome family entertainment involving women's basketball.Growing each year, the booster club's goals are to increase public awareness, promote season ticket sales and raise funds for the Lady Bulldog basketball program. Since the year 2000, this program has produced two Kodak All-Americans in Latoya Thomas (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003) and Tan White (2005) and had five players (Thomas, White, Chanel Mokango, Armelie Lumanu and Alexis Rack) selected in the WNBA Draft. Thomas was the top overall pick in the 2003 draft, while White was picked second in 2005. Mokango was the ninth overall selection. The 2009-2010 Lady Bulldogs reached their highest achievement to date as they made a run to the NCAA Sweet 16. Booster Club members were found at home games, road games, SEC Tourney Games, and NCAA post-season play rooting for their Lady Bulldogs as the team put the season motto "taking the next step" to heart! The Lady Bulldog Booster Club is led by an executive board. Five committees, made up of volunteers, work to support the needs of the basketball program.
