STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State wraps the opening weekend of soccer action Sunday as it hosts Cincinnati in an 11:30 a.m. kick on the SEC Network +.

The Bulldogs enter the contest looking to bounce back from a tough 5-1 season-opening setback to Iowa State in front of a school-record crowd of 1,010.

Prior to Fan Day at Davis Wade Stadium, fans can enjoy Kids’ Day at the MSU Soccer Field. Youth in attendance will receive a free MSU face decal, and in addition to the return of free ice cream, there will also be a $2 hot dog special.

Fans unable to attend can watch the SEC Network + broadcast Here or on mobile devices through the WatchESPN app.

Despite falling short in Friday’s debut, Aaron Gordon’s squad showed flashes of brilliance on the pitch in the second half, something MSU’s second-year coach will look to build on entering Sunday.

Freshman Mallory Eubanks made her debut special, opening her MSU scoring account with a 46th-minute goal off passes from senior Shannen Jainudeen and fellow rookie Kelsey Pearce.

Jainudeen’s assist comes a year after she scored a goal to begin the 2013 campaign.

MSU will look to stifle Cincinnati’s momentum following a 2-1 overtime win at Samford on Friday.

The Bearcats, who went 4-13-1 last season, got the winner in the 94th minute from Emily Elsbrock after returning leading scorer Laura Rose deposited the equalizer in the 21st minute.
