STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State wraps the opening weekend of soccer action Sunday as it hosts Cincinnati in an 11:30 a.m. kick on the SEC Network +.
The Bulldogs enter the contest looking to bounce back from a tough 5-1 season-opening setback to Iowa State in front of a school-record crowd of 1,010.
Prior to Fan Day at Davis Wade Stadium, fans can enjoy Kids’ Day at the MSU Soccer Field. Youth in attendance will receive a free MSU face decal, and in addition to the return of free ice cream, there will also be a $2 hot dog special.
Despite falling short in Friday’s debut, Aaron Gordon’s squad showed flashes of brilliance on the pitch in the second half, something MSU’s second-year coach will look to build on entering Sunday.
