Mullen To Participate in ESPN 'Car Wash' Tuesday

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen will join six other Southeastern Conference coaches at ESPN Headquarters to participate in the annual ESPN “Carwash” Tuesday.

Mullen will appear on ESPN Family of Network platforms throughout the day, including visits on College Football Live, the new SportsCenter set and SVP and Russillo.

Mullen begins his day at 9 a.m. CT with an ESPNU podcast followed by a roundtable session with the other coaches in attendance. He joins SVP and Russillo on ESPN Radio at 12:15 p.m. CT and then will head to tape a segment for College Football Live, which airs at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and re-airs at 5:30 p.m. on ESPNU.

Personalities from the SEC Network will be in attendance. The new national network launches August 14 and will televise live the Bulldogs’ season-opener against Southern Miss on August 30 at 6:30 p.m. Fans can request the SEC Network at

Mullen, who begins his sixth season, has guided MSU to four consecutive bowl games for the first time in school history. The Bulldogs return 30 players who started at least one game last season, including preseason All-SEC quarterback Dak Prescott, linebacker Benardrick McKinney, wide receiver Jameon Lewis and defensive lineman Chris Jones.
