No. 9 Bulldogs Travel to Top-10 LSU For Critical SEC Showdown

STARKVILLE, Miss. – After winning its first three Southeastern Conference series for the first time since 2003, the No. 9 Mississippi State baseball team travels to top-10 LSU this weekend for a critical three-game series in the SEC West. First pitch Friday is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium. Saturday’s game starts at 6:30 p.m. as well, followed by Sunday’s series finale at 1 p.m.

“We feel like we have had a good week of preparation. Our kids are really excited about going down to play a really good LSU team in a great environment in Baton Rouge. This has been a long-standing series and there has been a lot of great game during the years. I feel like it has been really competitive. Our kids are excited about the opportunity they have.”

Friday’s game will be televised live on CSS and ESPN3. Saturday’s broadcast will air live on ESPNU and the WatchESPN app. The series finale will air live on CST and ESPN3, while also being streamed live on HailStateTV.com.
