Bulldogs Welcome Vanderbilt To Town For SEC Home Opener

STARKVILLE, Miss. – No. 17 Mississippi State welcomes No. 3 Vanderbilt to Starkville this weekend for the Bulldogs’ SEC home opener. First pitch for Friday is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field. Saturday’s game starts at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday’s series finale beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Live Video and Television

Friday’s game will be televised live on CSS and ESPN3. Saturday’s game will be broadcast on ESPNU and the WatchESPN app. Live streaming via HailStateTV.com will ONLY take place for Sunday’s game.

All three games this weekend will be available on the Mississippi State Baseball Radio Network. Fans with HailStateTV subscriptions can also listen to the series via live streaming audio at HailStateTV.com.

Tickets and Promotions

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at HailState.com/tickets. Before first pitch Friday, member of the MSU Track & Field team will be honored. Starting with Friday’s game, fans can purchase Mississippi State baseball mini helmets at the concession stand with the purchase of Dippin Dots ice cream. On Saturday, the first 500 fans will receive a limited edition trading card set of the 2014 Diamond Dawgs. Kid’s Day at the Park is Sunday, with free face decals and kids running the bases postgame.

Sunday – Jr. RHP Trevor Fitts (2-0, 3.55 ERA) vs. So. RHP Tyler Ferguson (3-0, 1.63 ERA)
