Starkville, Miss. – Mississippi State baseball will play in a minimum of 11 televised games in 2014, the Southeastern Conference announced Thursday. The 11 contests are second-most in the league behind LSU (13).

The Maroon and White will play on CSS four times, FSN four times and ESPNU three times.

After opening their TV slate on FSN at Georgia on March 15 (11 a.m. CT), the Bulldogs play on the tube vs. Vanderbilt at home at 6:30 p.m. March 21-22. Game one at Dudy Noble Field will be broadcast by CSS, with ESPNU showing the game under the lights one night later.

State next appears on the box April 4-5 with 6:30 p.m. CT first pitches at LSU. The series opener will be televised by CSS, with ESPNU airing game two.

In an attempt to break its own NCAA on-campus attendance record of 14,991, MSU will play in-state rival Ole Miss on FSN on Saturday, April 12. The 3 p.m. contest is part of Super Bulldog Weekend.

The Bulldogs’ three-game set vs. Texas A&M at home has been pushed up one day, starting Thursday, April 24 with a 6:30 p.m. ESPNU contest. The series finale on Saturday will be aired by FSN at 2:15 p.m. State closes out its TV slate with three more Saturday tilts: May 3 at Auburn (6 p.m. on CSS), May 10 vs. Tennessee (6 p.m. on FSN) and May 17 at Alabama (3 p.m. on CSS).
