Patrasc To Begin Spring Ranked 84th In ITA Singles Rankings

STARKVILLE, Miss. – After an impressive fall campaign, Mississippi State women’s tennis sophomore Georgiana Patrasc will begin the 2014 spring season ranked No. 84 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s National Singles Rankings.

Patrasc, a 2013 All-SEC Second Team selection, put together 10 wins during the fall season, including an appearance in the finals of the Merritt Emery Draw at the 2013 Roberta Alison Fall Classic and the 2013 Jack Kramer Collegiate Invite. Patrasc also earned three wins in doubles play for the fall.

MSU’s women’s tennis squad will begin the 2014 campaign on January 19, as the Bulldogs welcome Alabama State (11 a.m. CT) and Alabama A&M (3 p.m. CT) for a doubleheader at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre on campus.
