STARKVILLE, Miss. – After claiming a come-from-win in Tupelo last week, Mississippi State returns to Starkville for a clash with Florida A&M on Tuesday.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Humphrey Coliseum. HailStateTV subscribers can catch live video and audio of the action with Jim Ellis and Bart Gregory providing courtside commentary. Tickets are also on sale for just $5.

The next two games are also "Christmas at the Hump" and in addition to the special ticket prices, there will be pregame and in-game festivities for the entire family to enjoy.

The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 6-2 record after only posting a 5-7 mark in the nonconference portion of last season’s schedule. MSU downed Southeastern Louisiana, 68-62, in a neutral site matchup in Tupelo on Friday.

Craig Sword has been scoring at a blistering pace for Coach Rick Ray’s squad, as he has amassed 70 combined points in his last three games. The sophomore has scored at least 22 points in three-straight games, and he leads the team with 15.3 points an outing.

MSU currently leads the Southeastern Conference in steals, averaging 9.0 swipes per game. Sword paces the squad with 15 steals, while Trivante Bloodman has recorded 11.

The Rattlers (2-7) dropped a 72-62 decision to Hampton in their last outing on Dec. 7. Florida A&M has not won a road game all season. Jamie Adams leads his team with a 17.9 scoring clip, while Reggie Lewis also averages 11.9 points a game.

The Bulldogs hold a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series against FAMU. The last meeting came in 2004-05, as MSU captured a 104-80 victory at The Hump.

Mississippi State will host Florida Gulf Coast in its next game on Thursday. CSS will televise the 8 p.m. tilt.
