STARKVILLE, Miss. – Coming off the most successful season in the history of its rich program, Mississippi State baseball announced Monday the dates for its 2014 summer team camps for high school and travel squads. The first 16-team camp will be held June 2-5, 2014, with the second one taking place June 9-12, 2014. To register for the camps, which cost $275 per player, click the PDF to your right, print it out, complete and mail in the registration form.
The cost includes five games, three meals a day, on-campus housing, umpires, game balls and daily instruction from the 2013 national finalist coaching staff. The games will be played at surrounding high school fields as well as “The Carnegie Hall of College Baseball,” Dudy Noble Field, named the number one college ballpark in America this past summer by StadiumJourney.com. Campers will also have access to the nationally-praised indoor Palmeiro Center.
Each day will feature skills competition and evaluation, two games (one on last day), individual defensive workouts and hitting segments with the MSU coaching staff and presentations by 2013 American Baseball Coaches Association South Region Coach of the Year John Cohen.
