STARKVILLE, Miss. - Baseball players in grades 6-12 looking to get personalized instruction from the 2013 NCAA Finalists can do so with the 2013 Mississippi State Fall Baseball Academy, head coach John Cohen announced Thursday. The five-week academy, to be held each Monday night from Nov. 11-Dec. 9, will be limited to only 30 campers. The cost is $200. To register, click the PDF to your right, print it out, complete and mail in the registration form.

This is a tremendous way for young players to receive one-on-one skill instruction from a staff who reached the CWS Championship Series this past June, MSU director of baseball operations Tyler Bratton said. With only 30 spots available, each participant will have an extended opportunity to maximize his talents as efficiently as possible.

Each 90 minute session, going from 6-7:30 p.m. CT every Monday, will take place in the nationally-known Palmeiro Center on campus. Check-in for the 30 participants will be Monday, Nov. 11, at 5:45 p.m. inside MSU baseball’s indoor training facility. Payment for the academy can be made during this time.

The camp is designed to provide intensive instruction on all aspects of the game of baseball, with an emphasis on hitting, infield play and catching.
