McDonald To Represent The United States In Spirit International

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Ally McDonald is set to represent the United States in the renowned Spirit International Amateur Golf Championships Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas.

The four-day tournament will showcase 20 different countries, with each team comprised of two women and two men.


McDonald is joined on the U.S. team by captain and Clemson standout Ashlan Ramsey, Jordan Niebrugge and Scottie Scheffler. 


The Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational champion and Ramsey will tee off the opening round at 10:06 a.m. CST On Hole 1 alongside the South African women’s team.

She is the first Mississippi-born player to appear in the event, with alumni including several PGA and LPGA Tour members.
