MSUís Perper Drops Tough Three-Set Finale At The ITA Southern Regional

AUBURN, Ala. – As the ITA Southern Regional Championships came to a close on Monday, Mississippi State women’s tennis was represented by one singles player who fought to the finish for the Bulldogs.

Senior Alexandra Perper found great success in her consolation draw throughout the event, advancing all the way to the finals. But the Bulldog veteran dropped a tough match there against Reka Muller of host Auburn 5-7, 7-5, 1-0(8) in Monday’s title match.

The next action for Mississippi State women’s tennis will begin Nov. 1, as the Bulldogs will travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to compete in the Roberta Allison Fall Classic.
