Fall And Winter Softball Camps Open For Registration

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Head softball coach Vann Stuedeman announced Wednesday the schedule for Mississippi State’s fall and winter clinics. A hitting and pitching clinic for seventh through 12th graders will be held Nov. 17 while a hitting-only clinic will be held Nov. 23rd for second through 12th graders. The Bulldogs round out the camp season with a January 11th session focusing on hitting, pitching and defense for seventh through 12th graders.

Youth softball players looking for in-depth, personalized instruction from Bulldog coaches can attend by signing up online or completing the brochure attached in this story and mailing it in. Enrollment is on a first-come first-serve basis so sign up today.

The clinics will be held at the MSU Softball Complex, the Shira Athletic Complex and the Palmeiro Center, Starkville's praised softball indoor practice facility. Instruction for the camps will be provided by Stuedeman, assistant coach Beth Mullins and assistant coach Alan Reach.

Cost for the Nov. 17th and 23rd clinics is $60. The hitting and pitching sessions on the 17th will both run from 1-4 p.m. CT. For the hitting sessions on the 23rd, seventh through 12th graders will go from 9 a.m.-noon CT while second through sixth graders will have their clinic from 1-4 p.m. CT.

The winter clinic January 11th will start with a hitting clinic from 9 a.m.-noon CT. Pitching and defensive clinics will run from 1-4 p.m. CT that afternoon. Cost for just one session is $60, but participants can combine two sessions on the 11th for $100.
