Ramey fired a final-round 73 at the Golf Club of Tennessee to finish with a 2-under-par 211.
“For the second straight day, we hurt ourselves with a big number on several holes,” Coach Clay Homan said. “We missed too many fairways and got ourselves out of position too often. Tomorrow, we will compete for a victory in a head-to-head match with Boston College.”
Ramey’s solid play carried the Bulldogs to a 299 on Saturday and a 26-over-par 878 for the 54-hole event.
Fellow senior Joe Sakulpolphaisan also tallied a 73 on Saturday to vault into a tie for 19th at 4-over 217. The solid final round registered his second-straight Top-25 finish and the 12th of his career.
Another senior, Barrett Edens, carded a 76 on Saturday to tie for 26th at 6-over 219. Junior T.J. Morgan finished with a 77 on Saturday to tie for the 42nd position with an 18-over 231, while Axel Boasson rounded out the Bulldog lineup with a final-round 82 that put him in 49th with a 238.
Georgia claimed the team title, while Ben Crancer of Texas A&M took individual medalist honors.
The teams wrap the inaugural Collegiate Cup Sunday with the SEC and ACC teams challenging each other in match play. The Bulldogs will face Boston College.
