KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Heavy rains soaked the Cherokee Country Club and Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday, forcing Mississippi State's second round at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships to be canceled.

The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes, with Ginger Brown-Lemm’s Lady Bulldogs entering the final 18 holes in ninth place after an opening 293 on Friday.

Junior Ally McDonald will come back into action just two shots off the lead.

The Bulldogs are set to tee off at 7:40 a.m. CST Sunday alongside Chattanooga and Penn State on hole one.
