STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State head coach Clay Homan ventured Down Under to ink Australian Jackson Dick to a National Letter of Intent to join the Bulldogs’ stellar 2013 men’s golf signing class.
Dick, a Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, native, was a four-time Queensland Junior Team member in high school. He posted a 71.06 scoring average in 2012, improving on his 71.96 from his junior campaign.
"We are excited to welcome Jackson Dick to the Bulldog golf program this fall,” Homan said. “Jackson brings with him a wealth of tournament experience at the highest level, and he will give us even more depth on next year's team.”
Dick performed well at marquee tournaments in 2012, nabbing a sixth-place card at the Greg Norman Junior Masters and an eighth-place showing at the Gary Player Classic.
The Gold Coast native ranked 8th among junior golfers in Australia.
