STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State (19-4) goes after its 20th win of the young campaign Tuesday night with a 6:30 p.m. game against the Alcorn State Braves (4-17). The game wraps up a run of home games for the Bulldogs who will have played 23 of their first 24 games at Dudy Noble Field.

Sophomore righty-hander Brandon Woodruff (1-1, 3.38) is set to make his fourth start of the season while Alcorn State has designated senior right-hander Mundo Sanchez (0-1, 4.79) for game-opening mound duty.

The radio broadcast of the MSU-ASU game will be carried on the statewide MSU Baseball Radio Network and heard locally on West Point's WKBB-FM (100.9), the flagship station for MSU athletics, and on WFCA-FM (107.9) in French Camp. Live audio and multi-camera video streaming for the game will be available online to HailStateTV subscribers (http://www.hailstate.com/hstvlive).

Stadium gates and ticket windows open at 4:30 p.m. General admission tickets cost $5 and are good for entrance to open seating in Dudy Noble Field's grandstand chair back sections during all non-conference games in 2013. Season ticket patrons retain priority on their seats in the grandstand.

The Diamond Dogs knocked off second-ranked LSU 10-2 Sunday in the final game of an SEC season-opening weekend series at Dudy Noble Field. Junior outfielder C.T. Bradford (.341) and sophomore first baseman Wes Rea (.294) registered two-hit, three-RBI plate performances to pace State at the plate against the defending SEC champions. Senior pitcher Kendall Graveman (2-1, 2.36) earned the win and his second quality start (six or more innings pitched/three or less earned runs allowed) of the season, scattering seven hits and allowing one run over six innings. Graveman received solid backing by the Bulldog defense, which played error-free baseball for the 10th time in 23 games and with three double-plays raised its SEC-leading total to 32.

Mississippi State travels to Lexington, Ky., this weekend for its first true road games of the season, a three-game weekend series against No. 8 Kentucky (16-3, 2-1 SEC). Game times (CDT) are set for 5:30 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday at UK's Cliff Hagan Stadium. Saturday's MSU-UK game will be televised by FOX Sports Net.
