Sunday MSU-Portland Baseball Game Moved To 2:30 p.m.

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Game time for Mississippi State's Sunday series finale against Portland at Dudy Noble Field has been moved to 2:30 p.m. to accommodate fans attending the Mississippi State-LSU women's basketball game. Tipoff for the MSU-LSU game, televised regionally by SportSouth, is set for 12:30 p.m. in Humphrey Coliseum.

The Bulldogs open their 2013 baseball season and a four-game weekend series against the Portland Pilots Friday at 4 p.m. State takes on the Pilots in a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 12:30 p.m. and wrap up the weekend with Sunday's 2:30 p.m. contest.

The local radio broadcast of the first two games of the MSU-UP baseball series (Friday and game 1 Saturday) will be carried on West Point's WKBB-FM (100.9) while the final two games (game 2 Saturday and Sunday) will be heard locally Columbus' WNMQ-FM (103.1). The 40-game MSU Baseball Radio Network broadcast schedule is set to begin Feb. 22 with the 6 p.m. MSU-Purdue game on the opening day of competition in the Diamond Classic presented by Polk's Meat Products (Feb. 22-24).
