Lady Bulldogs Ranked No. 25 In Latest Track And Field Poll
"Of course we're excited about the women for the first time in several years being ranked in the Top 25," coach Steve Dudley said. "Obviously our ultimate goal at the end of the year is to finish in the Top 25. It's good to be ranked, but at the same time we have to execute by the end of the season and make sure we finish in the Top 25."
The Lady Bulldogs have donned top performances in recent competition, capturing six Top 5 finishes at last weekend's Tyson Invitational, where Alyssa Hall grabbed the No. 1 spot in the high jump (5-09.75).
The Southeastern Conference boasts seven spots in the Top 25 of the latest USTCCA Rankings, including the top-two teams.
A handful of the Maroon and White will see action in Baton Rouge on Friday, Feb. 15 at the LSU Twilight Invitational before gearing up for the SEC Championships the following weekend in Fayetteville.
