Bulldogs Ranked No. 12 Nationally In Indoor Track And Field

The Bulldogs' success this season can be seen by an extraordinary 28 Top 10 finishes through just five meets, 16 of which are Top 3 performances. At the Auburn Indoor Invitational on Jan. 19, Andrew and Patrick Monaghan, Tavaris Tate and Brandon McBride broke the meet record in the 4000-meter distance medley, capturing a first-place finish with a time of 9:57.68 seconds.
Most recently, freshman McBride displayed an unrivaled performance in the 800-meter run at the Meyo Invite in South Bend, Ind. His time of 1:47.74 seconds is the Canadian Junior National Record, as well as the No. 2 time in the country.
MSU hits the road again this weekend, splitting meets at the Samford Multi and Invitational in Birmingham and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville.
