2013 MSU Winter Baseball Camps Set In January
The 2013 camps open with a pair of youth sessions (grades 1-8), an All-Skills Camp (January 12) and a Hitting Camp (January 13). Sessions three and four are designed for high school age athletes (grades 9-12) and feature a Saturday Hitting Camp (January 19) and Sunday Pitcher/Catcher/Infielder Camp (January 20).
The 2013 Winter Baseball Camps conclude with the always-popular Father & Son Camp (grades 1-6). Participants at the overnight camp (January 26-27) literally "camp-in" at the spacious Palmeiro Center, the climate-controlled indoor training center for the Mississippi State baseball team.
The camps are conducted at the Palmeiro Center and Dudy Noble Field, the home of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, with instruction provided by MSU head baseball John Cohen and members of the MSU coaching staff. Camp check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Palmeiro Center for each daily session of the high school and youth camps and at 4 p.m. for the Father-Son Camp. Special tuition rates apply for those attending both daily sessions of the High School or the Youth camps as well as for the Father-Son Camp.
Signed parent's and physician's release statements are required.
