MSU Baseball Coaching Clinic Set For January 11
The day-long event, offered with no charge to attendees, will feature informative clinic sessions presented by MSU head baseball coach John Cohen and members of the Bulldog coaching staff. The clinic will begin at 8:15 a.m. with registration and check-in at the Palmeiro Center. Topics scheduled include Prescription Hitting, Pitching Absolutes, The All-Around Catcher, Defensive Drills For The Dirt, and Ways to Score Other Than Hitting. An afternoon "skull session" centering on various aspects of pitching, offense, defense and strength training will also include demonstrations by former Mississippi State baseball players.
Mississippi State finished with a 40-24 record and a No. 22 national ranking after winning the 2012 SEC Baseball Tournament and earning the program's 32nd advancement to NCAA postseason competition.
