Game two of the three-game series is set for a 3 p.m. first pitch, with junior right-hander Evan Mitchell working opposite senior lefty Chad Girodo. State closes out its fall practices and the Maroon/White World Series with a 1 p.m. (CST) game Sunday. All of the games are open to the public.

Senior righty Kendall Graveman started and picked up the win with six solid innings of mound work. He scattered six hits, fanned four and walked one. Right-handers Myles Gentry and Callahan Brown combined to finish out the final three frames.
Senior catcher Mitch Slauter collected a pair of hits and drove in a run to lead the eight-hit Team Maroon attack. Freshman outfielder Jacob Robson doubled in one of the Maroon's two runs.
