STARKVILLE, Miss. - A record-setting 2012 season has earned Mississippi State junior forward Elisabeth Sullivan a pair of All-SEC accolades.
Sullivan was tabbed second team All-SEC by the league coaches on Tuesday, just two days removed from being a first team all-league selection by College Sports Madness.
The Memphis native was also named the CSM Player of the Week for the SEC following her two-goal outing in MSU's season-ending 3-2, double-overtime win against rival Ole Miss.
Sullivan tallied her fourth multiple-goal game of the season, and her golden goal in the 104th minute gave her Mississippi State's career goals record with 23.
She finished her junior season third in the SEC in points with a career-best 28. Her personal-high 12 goals were tied for the second-most in the league this season.
Her 28 points and 12 goals both rate as the second-best tallies in MSU single-season history.
Sullivan scored seven of her goals in league play, a tally that tied Auburn's Tatiana Coleman and Texas A&M's Annie Kunz for second in the league.Fans can stay updated on Bulldog soccer through the team's official Twitter (www.twitter.com/mstateSOC) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/mstateSOC) pages.
