MSU Volleyball Tests LSU In Sunday TV Match

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Bulldogs wrap up their October schedule and a three-match television schedule Sunday with a 1 p.m. (CDT) match against seven-time defending SEC Western Division champion LSU.

Sunday's match at the Maravich Center will be televised regionally on cable systems by Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) and Cox Sports Television (CST). The broadcast will also be available online on ESPN3.

State (4-17, 0-12 SEC) was held to a season-low 14 kills and dropped a straight-sets (25-11, 25-8, 25-11) decision at No. 11 Florida Friday in Gainesville. Lainey Wyman and Sarah Nielsen paced the Bulldogs with four kills each.

SEC newcomer Texas A&M top LSU (9-13, 5-8 SEC) in four sets Friday night in Baton Rouge (25-20, 22-25, 25-11, 25-16).

MSU plays its first matches at the Newell-Grissom Building since September in the coming weekend, hosting Tennessee Friday (7 p.m. CDT) and Alabama Sunday (1:30 p.m. CST).
