Women's Hoops To Host Open Scrimmage Oct. 27

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Fans can get a first look at Vic Schaefer's inaugural Mississippi State women's basketball team Oct. 27 as the team plays a Maroon & White intrasquad scrimmage beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Humphrey Coliseum.

The event is free to fans, with the Hump doors opening an hour prior to opening tip.

Mississippi State, which returns nine letterwinners from last season's squad, hosts Shorter Nov. 2 in an exhibition contest starting at 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs open the regular season at home Nov. 9, taking on Houston in a 7 p.m. tip.
