Stuedeman's Squad Travels To Gulfport Saturday

STARKVILLE, Miss. - After an opening weekend that saw the Maroon and White go 1-1, the Mississippi State softball team travels to the coast this weekend as part of the fall exhibition "Tour de Miss" schedule. Head Coach Vann Stuedeman and her Bulldogs will battle Marion Military Institute at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, in a doubleheader at Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Miss. Admission is $5 for the game.

The school, located at 15600 School Road in Gulfport, will also be the location of a FREE pitching clinic from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., as well as a FREE hitting clinic from 1-3 p.m. Both clinics will be hosted by the MSU softball team. Both clinics are available to all youth girls ages 10-18, with each participant receiving a MSU softball t-shirt following the clinic.


10 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Free MSU Pitching Clinic

1-3 p.m.: Free MSU Hitting Clinic

5 p.m.: Doubleheader vs. Marion Military Institute ($5 admission)
