Bulldogs Host LSU Friday To Open SEC West Play
STARKVILLE, Miss. - A four-match homestand concludes and SEC Western Division play begins as Mississippi State hosts LSU Friday night. Opening kick is set for 7 p.m. at the MSU Soccer Field.

Neil Macdonald's squad wraps the homestand looking to bounce back from setbacks to Vanderbilt and 23rd-ranked Tennessee that put the Bulldogs at 7-3-1 overall, 0-3-1 in the league.
LSU enters the weekend with an identical 0-3-1 conference record following losses to Auburn and Kentucky last weekend. The Tigers sit at 4-4-3 overall on the year.
Junior Elisabeth Sullivan will be looking for another big showing for the Bulldogs after she matched her career high with two goals against Vanderbilt last season.
Sullivan paces MSU with 17 points and seven goals on the year. Her seven strikes match her season high set during her freshman campaign and are tied for the seventh-most in school history. The Memphis native's 18-career goals are the fifth-most by a Bulldog.
LSU's goal-scoring has been paced by two goals each from Fernanda Pina, Carlie Banks, Heather Magee and Kaley Blades. Pina also tops the Tigers in assists with three.State concludes the four-match homestand Sunday against sixth-ranked Texas A&M. The first meeting between the two squads is set for a 3 p.m. start on Cox Sports Television.
