Fall Softball Practices Open To The Public
STARKVILLE, Miss. - All fall practices for the Mississippi State softball team will be open to the public, Head Coach Vann Stuedeman announced Tuesday. Softball fanatics wanting to watch the Maroon and White are invited to attend and observe as the team works its way toward another NCAA Tournament.
"We are Starkville's team and want nothing more than to interact with our fans and get to know them personally," Stuedeman said. "We play here, live here and learn here, so I can't think of a better way to establish ourselves in this community than have the whole town at all of our practices."
This past spring, Stuedeman became the winningest first-year softball coach in school history, leading the Bulldogs to their first 30-win season since 2008. Going undefeated against Mississippi schools for the first time since 1998, MSU broke the school record for road wins and also had the best April in history on their way to an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Should rain or anything else alter the practice schedule, updates to the schedule will be posted on the softball team's official twitter feed at @MStateSB.
