STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports' Bulldog Sports Properties, today announced all viewing opportunities for fans to be able to watch the 6 p.m. South Alabama match up on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Bulldog fans throughout the state of Mississippi, as well as in Memphis, Tenn., and select cities in Alabama, will have access to the game and can purchase it through their respective cable or satellite provider. The pay-per-view option, made available by Bulldog Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports and Mississippi State Athletics' multimedia rights holder, will enable Starkville residents and fans all throughout the state to not miss a beat of the game, which is set to kick off at 6 p.m. CST from Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

Fans are encouraged to contact their cable or satellite provider to learn more about the PPV in their viewing market and exactly what day the game will be available for purchase.  The following cable providers - Cable One, Charter, Comcast, Mediacom, MetroCast, Riviera Utilities - as well as Dish, DirectTV, AT&T U-verse (Dish. DirecTV and AT&T not available until Thu., 9/20), will offer the PPV game, yet may determine their own pricing. At minimum, the game will be available for residential purchase at $29.95 in advance or $34.95 on game day. Customers are encouraged to contact their respective provider to inquire not only about pricing, but when the game will be available for advance purchase. Bart Gregory will provide play-by-play on the telecast, while former Mississippi State head coach Jackie Sherrill serves as color analyst.

Bulldog fans in these viewing markets can purchase the game through their satellite provider, Dish Network, DirectTV and AT&T U-verse: Biloxi-Gulfport; Hattiesburg-Laurel; Meridian; Jackson; Columbus-Tupelo-West Point; Greenwood-Greenville; Memphis; Huntsville-Decatur-Florence; Birmingham-Anniston-Tuscaloosa; Montgomery-Selma; Dothan; and Mobile-Pensacola.  Additionally, a comprehensive listing of cable providers and respective cities can be found here.

To complement the televised PPV options, fans can also watch a live video stream of the game live, in high definition, via HailStateTV on www.hailstate.com.  The streaming option will only be available to fans living in Mississippi, Alabama and the Memphis, Tenn. area due to SEC regulations. The PPV is not included in other HSTV packages and must be purchased separately by existing HSTV subscribers. The price will be $29.95 ($34.95 day of game), and fans can sign up via this link. They can choose to watch the game live on their home PC and/or through the official Mississippi State Athletics iPad app (app cost is an additional $7.99).  For more information on the iPad app, visit www.hailstate.com/apps.

"We're thrilled to offer this option for fans as well," said Learfield Sports' VP Digital, Television Media Diane Penny.  "Between the live streaming and live televised option available through numerous cable and satellite providers, MSU fans should have no problem watching the Bulldogs take on South Alabama."
