Diamond Dog Freshman Kyle Hann Named To IBAF All-Star Team

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State freshman infielder Kyle Hann has been named to the 11-player all-star team following the IBAF 18U Baseball World Championship which concluded this weekend in Seoul, South Korea.

Hann, from Oakville, Ontario, and another MSU freshman, outfielder Jacob Robson from Windsor, Ontario, played for Canada in the international competition, helping guide their team to the Gold Medal Game. The United States topped Canada 6-2 Saturday in the championship game in the 25th IBAF 18U Baseball Baseball World Championship.

Hann and Robson will return to Starkville and rejoin their MSU teammates for the official start of MSU's fall baseball practices set to begin September 28 at Dudy Noble Field.
