Bulldogs Host Georgia State Seeking Fifth-Straight Win
STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State seeks to remain unbeaten Sunday as it hosts Georgia State in a noon kickoff at the MSU Soccer Field.

Neil Macdonald's squad improved its record to 4-0 as it posted a dominating 3-0 win against Louisiana-Monroe Friday night on the home pitch.
It was the second-straight shutout for the Dawgs after last Sunday's 5-0 dismantling of South Alabama to win the Bulldog Classic championship.
Junior Elisabeth Sullivan was stellar in winning Bulldog Classic MVP honors last weekend, and she continued her sizzling start to the season Friday, recording a goal and two assists.
The Memphis native has been brilliant so far this season for the Bulldogs, leading the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists.
Sullivan's four-point effort Friday put her at 41 for her career, the fifth-most in Bulldog annals. She also tied for fifth in assists with 11 and sixth in goals with 15.
Freshman Honeye Heydari and sophomore Amy Hoover also picked up where they left off last weekend, adding a goal each as MSU scored all three goals in the game's first 45 minutes.
Heydari has been sensational, notching a point in her first four college matches. The Jackson, Tenn., native has scored three goals and assisted three more for nine points, the most among SEC freshman this season.
Hoover, a Brookhaven native, set a new personal high as she tallied her third goal in as many matches.
Defensively, State turned in its best performance of the season, holding ULM to four shots. The Bulldogs pitched the shutout in the first half, as the Warhawks did not manage a shot until the 56th minute.
Bulldog freshman Gracie Irby earned her first start on the defensive line and helped the unit pitch its second-straight shutout.
MSU goalkeeper Skylar Rosson moved into second place with 8.1 career shutouts. She shared the blank sheet with sophomore transfer CJ Winship, who made a save in her MSU debut.
