STARKVILLE, Miss. - Soaking rain from Hurricane Isaac has altered Mississippi State's soccer schedule once again.

The Southern Miss Tournament has been cancelled, so Mississippi State will now host Louisiana-Monroe at 7 p.m. Friday and Georgia State at noon Sunday.

Updates on Bulldog soccer can be found on Mississippi State Soccer's official Twitter (www.twitter.com/mstateSOC) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/mstateSOC) pages.

Free live video streams of both matches will be available on www.hailstate.com/hstvlive.

Mississippi State brings a 3-0-0 mark into the weekend after winning the Bulldog Classic on the MSU Soccer Field a week ago.

The Dawgs' perfect start can be attributed to a sizzling offensive production. Mississippi State scored eight goals last weekend, and its 10 strikes this season is the most to start a campaign since the 2001 SEC Western Division championship team.

Neil Macdonald's squad enters the weekend tied with Missouri for the SEC lead with 3.33 goals per game.

Junior Elisabeth Sullivan will be aiming for another outstanding showing on the home pitch. The Memphis native took home Bulldog Classic MVP honors for the second-straight year after notching seven points on three goals and an assist.

Freshman Honeye Heydari continued her sensational start, adding her second goal of the season and three assists to claim a place on the all-tournament team.

The Jackson, Tenn., native has seven points overall, the most by a freshman in the SEC this season.

The Bulldogs will be seeking a second-straight shutout against a Louisiana-Monroe squad that is 2-1 this season.

Last Sunday's blank sheet was the eighth of senior goalkeeper Skylar Rosson's career, tying her with Sarah Roberts for second place in school annals.

Rosson and defensive mates Shelby Jordan, Morganne Grimes, Shannen Jainudeen and Julie Waddle face a ULM attack led by Karlea Fehr's two goals and three assists.

Alex Holland has seen the majority of the minutes in goal, stopping 11 shots while allowing two goals.
