STARKVILLE, Miss. - With the start of the cross country season slated to begin Saturday in Rome, Ga., Mississippi State announced on Wednesday it has canceled its collegiate home meet scheduled for Sept. 15.
However, the high school meet will continue as planned.
Rather than hosting the Mississippi State Invitational, the Bulldog squads will now travel to Nashville, Tenn., that same weekend to participate in the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt.
